Announcing games is one thing and delivering is another
Maybe there is final fantasy 16 after all

When they say big new titles it makes me very worried. Does FF7 remake even count as a big new title since it was already announced?
Just finish what you already have on your plate dammit.

Unless it's a crap remake like FF3 on DS was. Just like FF7, I would have a serious high bar of expectations from any FF6 remake/remaster. FF6 was already pretty much flawless in its day. |
that's right, but i don't think it will happen until complete remake off vii is done

I'm fairl sure you're right. Just recently they teased good news about Final Fantasy XII: The Zodiac Age. Turns out it was sales info (a million copies, I think) and a new trailer to celebrate the sales.

I mean, I've always thought FF was about being a good game and when they started mindlessly focusing on graphics is when it turned to shit... but that's just me Besides, they could quite easily return to Nintendo with numbered entries by re-releasing older ones even if they didn't release a new one. |
Even the classic ones were always pushing the tech. It's not something that started with the later games.
I really can't imagine that FFXVI would be a worse looking game than FFXV. Wouldn't make any sense. Though if indeed it have us a good game, i would be alright with it.
It'll be a HD FF8, another FF15 Expansion and Dissidia which we already know about. That's it.
SquEnix don't want to make FF16 for some reason. FF16 and 17 will make them more money than all these silly remasters and expansions can dream but no, got to milk FF15 for all it's worth.
Hmm, pie.
