I've been looking at the sales & articles since 2014 or so, started lurking in the forums in late 2015, made an account in May 2016, and became fairly active late 2016.

I was a lurker on VGC for a long time though.

2013, mostly because I didn't have internet until 2011. Yeah, I was a poor kid. I spent my days watching channel 20 and Bob Ross, don't judge me!

I joined in 2007, the site had really come alive then, it was quite slow going in 2006 and early 2007, I was at Gamespot and other cesspools before I settled here. We had some really awesome members who sadly disappeared, some were permabanned while others simply outgrew the place, or perhaps vgchartz outgrew them?

Anyway, it has been over 10 years now, feels weird, but also nice. I'm not as active as I was, which is partly down to having less "friends" on the boards but also my age and overall spare time and interest in games and gaming. Still around though, and I'll stick around too, no reason to leave and I still enjoy the community even if the numbers don't interest me as much as they used to.

2007. I've been visiting the site a few times a week ever since then, but haven't posted in years. 

My profile says April 2008 but I know I was regulary here before that.

Anyways, ten years on and the discussions on the forum are mostly the same as are the games discussed.
