"Reddit user Tyfui has put together a handy chart ranking a ton of different games for Switch based on how long the battery lasts. Over 50 titles were put to the test, and each one includes data for low brightness / airplane mode (Wi-Fi off), low brightness / Wi-Fi, max brightness / airplane mode (Wi-Fi off), and max brightness / Wi-Fi.

Some of the results are rather surprising. Did you know that Monopoly can end up using more battery than Zelda: Breath of the Wild, for instance? FAST RMX also seems to take up quite a bit of juice."

Really interesting chart and quit informative but... I hate it when people used minutes instead of hours. It irks me in the same way as when people refer to their kids as 23 months old etc. Just fucking use years! lol

Haha ya it literally looks like a PS1 game.

I would wager that if you added Picross S to this list it would be up with Disgaea 5 or even better, that game is incredibly good for making a battery last on a long journey.....

That said I got myself a 10k mAh battery to stick to the back of my Switch now so I get about 15 hours out of it, rarely travel enough to run that badboy dry.

There are some very odd results looking at max. brightness with and without WiFi on - some games take almost no hit (like SMO, Skyrim, Doom), while other take substantial hit (Fast RMX, Zelda). What on earth is Zelda using WiFi for?
