Truly a great year for gaming; 2010 remains king in my book but 2017 is up there.

3 of my top 10 games of the 2010s decade came out in 2017, 4 if you count the Switch release of Doom 2016.

Others like 2019 or 2011 offered more in terms of sheer content, but 2017 had multiple games of the standard that would normally be a lock for GOTY, in my opinion.

Has to be Zelda Breath of the Wild. That game exceeded the hype and was a killer app for a new console - it's truly a masterpiece. Super Mario Odyssey was also great but was a distant 2nd for me...
