Yeah, it's a shame, but at the same time, they're at too high of a price as is (and my local retailer got a shipment of them for some reason, so it doesn't really affect me)

If GTAV or RDR2 come out for the Switch, holy cow. That will be huge!

I know GTAV should be a no-brainer for the Switch at this point, but how about a remastered version of the GTA III / Vice City / San Andreas trilogy as well?

RDR would be nice to have on the Switch as well.  Don't know if the sequel is possible, but the original game is definitely portable material (get it?!?)

RDR would have to be accompanied by a: "Buy this and we will see about RDR2" statement.

I do not see RDR selling well on the Switch with RDR2 being so close.

As FIFA is bigger expectations are higher. Also: FIFAs strongest market is europe, which is Switchs weakest market.

As for your question: I would say MonHun XX bombed. Yes, I know the reason with rerelease, still it didn't do very hot.

Monster Hunter XX bombed probably because of a number of factors, chief among them it being a upgrade release of the previous Monster Hunter X/Generations, which usually do lower numbers unless released in the West in place of the original, and the 3DS version, which was announced following the Switch reveal announcement, being released a few months earlier with no word on it's Switch port until months later. Also Capcom announced Monster Hunter World, before it actually released, meaning those looking for a new HD Monster Hunter would be getting a true HD game within a year instead of a upscaled 3DS port.

Capcom, in recent 2017 Capcom fashion, dropped the ball and the game suffered for it.  The best XX hope is that if Nintendo has a hole in their schedule for 2018 and helps Capcom publish it in the West but even that is doubtful given Capcom is dropping World which unless Capcom really removes any hope of it being released to its normal hungry fanbase.

Bombed according to? Koei Tecmo said they were "extremely happy" with their games' sales. So if a game did bomb it was a minority. Overall Koei Tecmo are happy about the Switch right now.

You are making assumptions that are way premature. Here look at EA's statement. They say it is too soon to judge Fifa's sales. If EA is willing to say that then it is safe to say that the game is not an obvious flop like you say. Making your statement not only wrong but premature. 

Also i never said waiting for a Switch game to flop is a metric success. That is something you made up. I only said that as a small joke that wasn't to be taken seriously. If you want to be serious about you can but that's all on you. 

Look at my response above for Fifa's sales. Anyway Monster Hunter XX didn't bomb ether. Here is what Capcom has to say about Monster Hunter XX's sales. 
Capcom specifically called out the Nintendo Switch game Monster Hunter XX as a title that "performed strongly." Capcom would not say that if the game bombed. Your answer to my question (Which I did not I ask) is wrong.
