It's definitely possible, but I'm not so sure when they'd do it. Nintendo can be a lil unpredictable at times. Maybe at the end of the Switch's life?

If you think about MK8D they did that only because it's remaster, MK8 for Wii U didnt had GoTY edition.

Unlikely, but it's probably they will offer Zelda BotW with DLCs like part of Switch bundle (my guess for sucha posible bundle would be Holiday 2018.), same like they done with Wii U MK8 bundle.

Sometimes GOTYs only come to the next gen of systems.

I do hope so,so many gear is locked behind a paywall >.>

Even if the main vannila game already offers a lot of content.

I'm hoping for the BotW DLC to be a reward in My Nintendo. We have to use those coins on something.

There is a precedent with the MK8 DLC on the WiiU.

Maybe next holiday season, like most GotY editions. Following Nintendo's track record, maybe as a next gen launch title?

I personally don't see it happening myself.
