Forums - Gaming Discussion - More than half of Destiny 2's console sales were digital downloads

So that means Destiny 2 sold better than we though?Ugh, wished that Bungie moved to sometjing more worthwhile.

My (locked) thread about how difficulty should be a decision for the developers, not the gamers.

50% digital on consoles, that is expressive... that probably have to do with a game that people play all the time so they want to have access without need to pick the disk.

Dark times indeed.

Mr Puggsly: "Hehe, I said good profit. You said big profit. Frankly, not losing money is what I meant by good. Don't get hung up on semantics"

Hoped 0% digital attach ratio and that the game had like 0 sales?

You don't need digital for that. Just leave the disc in the console! That's what I do if I know I'm going to play a game a lot.

Not if the person is likely playing 2 or more games beside the daily game.

Just saying why they may be buying, I wouldn't.

The closer to that, the better it would be.

People still buy physical games? Anyway that's great news. I'm so glad the game was successful.

This is a stupid comment, of course people still buy physical. Just look at the front page of the website.

That's really interesting, 50% is an insane ratio!

Embrace the future! Just like how we don't see people with stacks of CDs in their car anymore, the day is coming.

It's coming!

So it did as well as the first game

Stories unfolded with my home made rap songs. Feel free to listen here with lyrics: https://youtu.be/vyT9PbK5_T0

Although I get all games digitally on pc it feels natural as any physical pc game is just a download key anyway.

The problem is on console il never buy a new digital game. Id prefer a game disk I can buy for £44.99 where as the digital version is £54.99 I can then sell or trade my copy in.

Now mabey I'd change my mind if digital was cheaper. Imo they should be around £10 cheaper at £34.99 for a new title. I don't know why digital is more expensive

...not much time to post anymore, used to be awesome on here really good fond memories from VGchartz...

PSN: Skeeuk - XBL: SkeeUK - PC: Skeeuk
