If people want the Japanese version, you don’t need to get the English version with a Japanese translation, you can log into a Japanese account and get the full Japanese version which will be better for Japanese speakers since it has both Japanese audio AND text.

I don’t know if you’re being intentionally unaware, but people that want dual audio don’t necesssarily speak the language, they just prefer higher quality voice acting in the original language rather than low quality dub work. It honestly isn’t that hard to read and watch at the same time, and I’d honestly argue that a crappy voice actor ruins my immersion far more than reading subtitles.

In any case, I cheated and spoiled myself despite not being able to watch the Direct, but dual audio already is a god send. I’m really glad Nintendo is back to giving us options and not shoving dubs down our throats.

Another shoo of the hand when it comes to this game.  It's almost as bad as Fire Emblem: Shadows of Valentia's DLC, which was god-awful.

It's better timing then the one from BOTW. That is just taking too long.

i will buy the season pass because i love XC games. But Nintendo better provide the value here or i will pass on the next ones. I'm still waiting for the BOTW one to fully justify itself.

Rex's costume is not the greatest on Rex either. Probably looks better on Link than Rex though.

Sadly, this direct did not show any outfit customization for Xenoblade.

But what I'm more concerned about is the item limit in BotW. Are they going to increase it? Feel liek with all the Amiibo and costumes that one can not have every peice in the game anymore. You will run out of armor spaces. Not to mention if you want multiple of certain outfits. You know making a blue or red outfits of say Ocarina of time outfit to let you wear the water or fire outfits. Ect.

Yea, glad I wated on Zelda season pass. I know i'll get it, but have not had a need yet. When champions ballad comes out I can get it and then go through gamea gain in master mode.

Probably get XC pass sooner, as looking at release dates of things, there is a story thing that comes out in January already right?

PC is the best way to experiance it now.... Xenoblade looks amasing in dolphin with texture packs, and high resolutions.

The story is great, though its the gameplay/grind thats fun, that ll get you playing it and staying with it.

It has a mmo-vibe too it, but its fun.

I don't know if people in this thread are aware but when it comes to season passes you can just...wait. None of the content is going anywhere, there are no preorder bonuses in there. Just wait until you know more. A season pass is a preorder for DLC, all it is. Just like with games, you can choose to wait. Just do that. And honestly, the meat of the content is coming 6 to 10 months after launch, imo that's about right for proper DLC anyway. Would be nice if the DLC was available for purchase in pieces.

Anyway, there seems to be no indication whatsoever of the game being feature incomplete. So I really don't care.

But moving on from that topic, the overall presentation was pretty dang hype. Looks like an exceptional game at this point. And assuming this is the final build, the improvements over E3 are enormous.

LOL. It's one of the most frequently requested things in all JRPG localizations.

When the dub is consistently bad, you prefer to have menus and text translated with Japanese VA. It's extremely common for Japanese story based games. I will usually ignore every JRPG without it.
