Forums - Sales Discussion - Amazon U.S. November bestsellers and general Amazon-based discussion

Xenoblade got a great boost from the direct it went from 55 to 21 at the moment. While Skyrim and Doom are also doing pretty good with Skyrim at 24 and Doom at 33. Hope this bodes for all three games.

Who’s worried? I’m simply saying Nintendo and Microsoft have hot fresh products that are performing well at the moment. Switch had already won more npds this year than Sony. Switch and Xbox will also probably beat ps4 in November and December npd. The ps4 slim for instance is around 50 ish place on amazon and the cod ps4 bundle is hardly lighting up the charts.

It may or may not last but for now it seems Microsoft and Nintendo have taken some wind out of ps4’s sails. Which is cool since ps4 hasn’t really had any competition since it launched.

You realise that PS4s hasn’t been top of the charts in September either and yet it was barely beaten by the Switch, right?

That was September. They have much better stock now along with Mario odyssey. October npd will be huge for Nintendo. Plus your comment sounds vaguely offensive. Why is that?

Xenoblade Chronicles 2 performance on Amazon :

USA: 21 (+6) ; Canada: 14 (+5) ; UK: 34 (+15) ; Germany: 57 (+4) ; France: sold out ; Japan: 14 (+7)

Numbers between brackets indicate the change from last update (14 hours ago).

Imagine actually bothering to concern troll about a console approaching 70m sales while another console, which has sold less than half of that, is having a good month because after a year of shit sales, they are backed up into a release of a new product.

That people are talking about Xbox One beating out the PS4 in the UK and US this gen because of this launch is pretty incredible.

Is this the same PS4 that is up YoY and recently had its financial year estimate increased?

We are used to these Xbox surges thru the entire generation when they release a new iteration of the Xbox One.

They are quick, agressive but most importantly: short.

When January comes, the best case scenario for the Xbox One is outselling the 3DS when NPD arrives.

We should remember that for the most part of this year, the Xbox One has been finishing Fourth in the NPD chart, behind the 3DS.

The Switch tho, has proved to be a more stable competitor in the "Console Race", and in my opinion will do great even in the slow months of next year.

It's always the same with certain people, knee jerk reactions to everything

I remember when Xbox One was going to surge back ahead of PS4 in US and UK after it dropped Kinect. I also remember when it was going to surge back ahead after winning November and December 2014 NPD by a good margin, then lost the next year comfortably.

It is same old same old
