Damn! It just went out of stock!! That was getting fun. :(

Lol... what is up with Amazon not haveing decent stock for the PS4's >_<

It’s not amazon’s fault. Believe me, as abdiel said, Sony shipped out a metric ton. They’ve just been selling at such a fast rate. Ppl are hungry for games lol

go go go Xbox one s!!!! what's up with the Xbox one x? is it out of stock? also, it's finally becoming a full-on slugfest between the (so happy to say this).... 3!!!! honestly, I thought the Xbox didn't have it in it anymore. good on them for making it a real fight now.

In 60th place.  I don't think its out of stock since the Switch and PS4 have been out of stock for a couple hours and yet they are both in the top 10 . Most likely its a lack of interesting in paying 500 dollars for a console especially when the S is 310 dollars cheaper and that aint counting the other consoles which are much cheaper.

After checking Amazon, as well as Gamestop and Best Buy, it seems like Sony blew their load so to speak on early week sales, it's running out of stock now online at least. Wonder what the stock situation will be like in retail stores?

I think the problem with amazon is that its mixing the message up a bit. I think the impact of PS being out of stock will have very little bearing on the final result as stores have got the bulk of it (as we've seen in previous years when stuff was out of stock). People are still more likely to go into store to get a deal.

I would be surprised if Sony don't win by at least 100k.... certainly could be looking at 200-300k difference. Especially when you take into account the $50 rebate offer from that one store.

Am surprised that MS are going even cheaper, but I guess they know they have to keep within an arms reach, saw this previously. In the UK the XBS is down to £169, while PS4 is £200. Cant see how either can easily put the prices back up after this.

Making an indie game : Dead of Day!

Maybe Amazon doesn't prioritize having adequate console stock since they're making a killing off the Echo, fire stick, fire tv, kindle etc;

It's out of stock but its going to be available to ship in 1-2 days.

Much of PS4 sales will come from GameStop and a large chunk of XB1 sales will come from Target.

they were nearly selling the same every month, for a new console that has high demand, it never met launch demand, because it was shipping very low numbers, so every month it got a boost from early adopters, and in october it got a huge boost from mario which is the fastest selling switch game so far, sold a million in 2 days. next year most early adopters would have got one, launch demand will have been met, then we could see how switch starts selling.

It sold high because they shipped low? That makes a ton of sense........

Switch sales will continue to grow next year and into 2019 as its evergreen titles continue to push sales, more major releases appear such as Pokemon & Smash Bros, better value bundles start to appear, first price cut happens and likely a revision.

It makes sense if you read what he said. He said those who would have bought it in its first month had to wait to buy it later. Had the demand been met in the first month, sales wouldn’t have been as high in the other months.

When are we likely to hear who ends up winning November NPD?

Long time lurker, first time poster. ;O

GameStop is out of stock though it seems.
