Yeah, even though Amazon has taken up more marketshare than it did 3 years ago, Best Buy and GameStop still make up a higher proportion of sales (I believe over half combined). As a result, Sony will prioritize Best Buy and GameStop over Amazon. I mean, Sony would be absolutely dumb to undersupply GameStop considering what GS is offering with the PS4.

 It's also better to supply retail stores with more stock than online since that's where most shoppers will be tomorrow.

Wow, never thought Pro would be above Switch. I'm sure combined, Switch is outselling it, but it's still impressive.

And if what those insiders say is correct, I still think it's going to be PS4>Switch>XBO.

So when the Xbox One S is #2 nobody is celebrating the Xbox's success but when PS4 is at #2 it's a big success?

I mean I get that supply issues are constraining the regular PS4 and Switch but c'mon guys.

That being said .... didn't the 200$ PS4 slim have a 1tb drive? That's 10$ less for 500GB less of storage ... Microsoft wtf ...

The most surprising thing is the Pro. It is doing fantastic! Being above the Switch is a huge accomplishment. At this point, I'm a little worried Switch will be 3rd in the NPDs, but this is all speculation at this point. Playstation deserves the most credit either way.

That is true. We'll have to see how well it does this month. So far it's pretty far behind(39) to PS4's 4

It's a price drop so it's obvious it would have got that high.
