Nintendo shipped 1.7M units of SNES Classic as of 30/09

Thats basically their day-one shipment since the console launched in the west in September 29th and Japan October 5th

They said they would continue to ship them and bring back the NES Mini in 2018. So I'm waiting patiently for prices to come down. If they stay up I'll just skip the purchase. But it's good to hear they shipped a lot of units day one.
