Thats basically their day-one shipment since the console launched in the west in September 29th and Japan October 5thNintendo said it shipped 1.7 million units of SNES Classic as of Sept. 30.

Wonder if they will reach 5 million of these things at least. I felt that was good number.

Holy sh**.
My (locked) thread about how difficulty should be a decision for the developers, not the gamers.

They're still flying off the shelves instantly!

They said they would continue to ship them and bring back the NES Mini in 2018. So I'm waiting patiently for prices to come down. If they stay up I'll just skip the purchase. But it's good to hear they shipped a lot of units day one.
Not too surprising, but definitely impressive
