Docked:

Dynamic Resolution (depending on what's happening on the screen the game can range 1600x900 to lower resolutions like 1440x810 and 1280x720)

scenes when turning the camera and effect his use that looks  like a low resolution depth of field blur the low resolution buffer is effectively operating at quarter resolution

Stable 60 fps (rarely some drops)

Loading is very fast (5 seconds)

Photo Mode improves the level of details, image quality and improve distance shadows (is limited to 30fps).

Undocked:

1280x720 but the second you start moving the game becomes 640x720 (but the world around the characters moving stills 1280x720)

shadow quality lower than docked mode

Bloom Lightning is Different

Stable 60 fps (rarely some drops)

Every once in a while a game comes along that makes me think about how meaningless it really is to exaggerate minor technical flaws to the extent of possibly missing out on one of the best games every made. This is one of those times.

I guess this dynamic resolution thing is gonna be Nintendo's new standard. Still too soon for rock solid consistent 1080p/60fps to be their standard it seems.

"640x720" is that legit?

the world is 1280x720, but the characters moving are rendered at 640x720.

and 2D models at 15-20 fps when far in the background, and 30fps when not to far away.

Still its smart use of the resources they had, mario looks great.

yeap, it doesn't make so much difference, especially if we take into consideration the draw distance of the game.

I think it looks better than Zelda BoTW.... and its 60 fps (for the most part, occasional dips down to the 45-55 range).

This is the most impressive Switch title so far.
