It's an absolute joke. They're implying that the ONLY way to have a balanced and unbiased moderation system is to have every single minority group respresented. They better get some neo-nazi representation if that's their logic. If someone is an asshole, they're an asshole FULL STOP.  Ain't nothing to do with there race,culture, religion , gender , sexual orientation etc. 

It seems NeoGAF is losing some steam, not much going on on the front page.

I'm telling you I didn't want to be a part of a forum owned and (badly) managed by a guy who has defended someone who had child pornography on his PC and who treats women with no respect.

I've been steadily replacing my GAF browsing habits with going to reset instead.

FYI, it's a forum that is much better than the GAF we knew two weeks ago. It's not the same moderators, but rather some of our beloved we've come to know and respect such as ZHugeEX (yes a mod there!), Shinobi (the PlayStation insider that has accurately leaked things in the past) and more.

They have a stated goal with keeping the community non toxic as well so it should handily replace GAF for insider leaks, mega OT threads and the like without all the pretentious SJW schtick, the hive mind mentality and the shitty moderators.

How long before accounts get approved?

Mine took a day. They seem to be much quicker than gaf was. It took them 3 months to approve me on gaf two years ago. 

That is a fun place.

It is a private email (school, workplace, ect). Since my workplace sadly doesn't provide them, I got a school email from my younger brother. I think the email you receive from your cable/internet company could work as well.
