Forums - Nintendo - After BotW: Can you still enjoy older Zelda games?

But BotW open-world structure is something else. I'd love that developers learn some things about BotW and specially how a open-world must feel.

I can go back to any of the older Zelda games. Because one game doesn't replace them.

For me, BOTW still wasn't open enough. I want it more opened for my play style.

I too find it harder to play other open-world games now since they feel restricted, BotW allows you to climb any place and the glider allows you to fastly move through the landscape by air. I really missed that when replaying Skyrim.

Why not?

Even if you really like BotW, the previous games are very different so you can still enjoy them

Come on, spill the beans. Where did you find the console that cheap?
Have to buy one for Xmas and that price is unbeatable.

Game pretty sure you bought it from amazon.de

I used these two deals:

https://www.mydealz.de/deals/nintendo-switch-online-clas-ohlson-1055145

https://www.mydealz.de/deals/amazon-the-legend-of-zelda-breath-of-the-wild-switch-1059044

Obviously the console deal is gone. Shame! Thanks anyway.

BTW, I also bought the amazon BotW to go with the console gift, whenever I buy that one.
Thinking in getting the SMO bundle that has the red joycons.

You say tomato, I say tomato

"¡Viva la Ñ!"

A Link to the Past is still my favorite, so yes, yes I can (and am, on my Snes mini).

Nope. But BOTW certainly makes other open world games appear abit lifeless and boring

You will be fine lol. Each one is unique in its own right. BotW is no exception. That will now make you enjoy tbe others any less though.

well,i played a link to the past last week and it was great as alway.Still my favorite zelda,by far.Botw is really great, but it needed a little more of personality to me.Alttp deliever a perfect balanced experience.

I would assume so. I have not played one since, but the idea of the next Zelda being like the older ones does not sit bad with me.

Yup. 3D Zeldas are all pretty diffrent and even though I have yet to warm up to OOT (basically heresy, I know....) I love MM and WW and my enjoyment of them hasn't changed one bit.

The 2D Zeldas are awesome no matter what, offer a uniquely different exerience from any 3D Zelda and are always worth a play.
