Forums - Nintendo - Nintendo wants more "mature" content on the switch

Just give me Persona 5 and I'll die a happy man.

Good move.

A more diverse library that can appeal to a wider range of players is good for everyone.

As a player, it gets boring playing just G-PG games or just M rated games; variety is the spice of life.

My opinion: Nintendo needs to put up or shut up by showing 3rd parties that mature games can sell on the Switch by making one themselves. I'm not talking about paying a developer to make one for them, I'm talking about them making one internally within their EPD studios. And as of right now, Metroid Prime 4 is their perfect opportunity to show that they can make an M-Rated game that can sell well on the Switch.  They wouldn't even have to do much; just bump up the gore and horror aspects of the series.

Nintendo only has to make sure they have quality third party on their platform and publicize it more. Nintendo consumers need to put up or shut up. I will do my part with doom and wolfenstein 2.

Good. Turn that shit into the next SNES. I don't want Nintendo or Gamers to think they are in direct competition with Sony/MS. Nintendo have been in their own lane since 2006.

Black Women Are The Most Beautiful Women On The Planet.

"In video game terms, RPGs are games that involve a form of separate battles taking place with a specialized battle system and the use of a system that increases your power through a form of points.

Sure, what you say is the definition, but the connotation of RPGs is what they are in video games." - dtewi

How about Nintendo lead by example and not let others do their dirty work xD

Switch Crochet or Needlepoint 2:The Tread would be good mature games. Calling a 30 yr old guy shooting cops and hookers mature is oxymoronic.

Did Sony or Microsoft make a soccer game to convince EA that it would sell?

Nintendo had Mario Football which always sold well and EA ignore Nintendo systems for years with their sporting games.

Nintendo need to shed the perception that only Nintendo games sell on Nintendo hardware.

Funding 3rd parties to make a few mainstream style exclusives that appeal to mass market is the best way to achieve that and I don't mean some nobody developer lokgin to be hypter and create something bizzar that with have a small appeal.

I'll would love an SNES style Nintendo reception but I doubt thats going to happen. I'll settle for an N64.

Persona 5 and Dark Souls need to come to the Switch!

So,what about a eternal darkness sequel then?

Shadow of the Eternal's. Is this still a thing ?

Denis Dyack is  supposedly still trying to make it happen, but the Kickstarter didn't work out and no publisher has been willing to find it...

On top of that, one of the lead developers got busted with Cheese Pizza, so there was a lot of bad press...

Last I heard, Denis Dyack is still convinced that it will happen at some point...

Personally, I would rather just get a remake of Eternal Darkness...

Have a nice day...
