If shattering your attack is not too rude of me, let me say this: first I did not spin anything into people being opposed to a 60fps on PS4, I clearly asked why is an 8K version coming FIRST (keyword is FIRST) when there are already people that are ready to use a 2k 60fps version on PS4 and that is in fact the heart of the matter here. If you can't read or if you are too one-sided to comprehend that is not on me.

Note that several times I said: I'm cool with an 8K proof of concept on PC, whereas at NO POINT in the exchange did you say ANYTHING whatsoever, not even now that I asked the question, that, yeah, sure, a 2K 60fps version on PS4 would be nice, or I don't know why a 2K 60fps version on PS4 is not on the agenda or ANYTHING that shows some kind of honesty in YOUR side of the argument. Second You're clearly trying to obfuscate here with your insistance that 8K settings are the norm, the usual thing and now you add that it's been the case for the past 20 years? I'm sure games had the famous 8K setting back in 1997 as everyone knows, yeah right... So let me shed some light on what is either your ignorance or your deliberate attempt at obfuscating (I believe it's the latter). there is NOTHING even remotely qualifying as the norm, the usual as your dictionary explained, in 8K settings if a majority of games don't have that option to ACTUALLY PLAY their games in 8K. If games are beginning to offer that 8K option now, they did not 5 years ago and like hell they certainly did not 20 years ago. You think that 3 games on Youtube, make 8K the norm, the usual thing, the thing MOST people have? And If I asked about Limbo it is because if 8K was the norm, Limbo would be in 8K and 90% of PC gamers would have played that game in 8K, that's what something being the norm means and not some settings nobody can use cause no one has the hardware that does the trick, how can you possibly not get that?

Third It was never about winning or losing an argument, it was about understanding why they choose a proof of concept over an actually commercially viable option FIRST instead of doing it first on PS4 then working on their 8K concept or doing them at the same time both would have made sense too. But now that you are revealed as a fanboy all becomes clear. I would wait long before I got an honest answer or opinion from your kind.

I'll settle for 1080p which has been ACTUALLY used by at least 90% of players worldwide thus making it the definition of the word "norm", the usual, the STANDARD way of playing.

5000 dollars just for the screen? Wow. The world must only be made of millionaires if everybody owns that screen, since playing in 8K is the norm according to someone... LOL

And to answer your question: Yes I could but between the 5k priced screen and a super powerful computer (if you wish to push 8k at 60fps), I am good with 2K 30 or 60fps games as things are on PS4 for now. 

Also thanks for at least giving me an opinion on why there isn't yet a 60fps FF15 game on PS4, that was all I wanted to know in the first place.

Plus If I ever got an 8K screen it would be a TV, cause pressing 32 million pixels (8K) deserves at least a 60" screen in my opinion. A 30" for 5K dollars, I think I'll pass. But thanks for the info mate.
