I blame social media foe bringing women to the Internet, back then the Internet was rough because the vast majority on it were men. pretty much all the women were in reality 40 years old men. But now because of their myspace, hi5, instagram you have real women on the internet so now every douche is trying to act like a white knight, you can't even joke about rape without being vilify :(

Oh no! They took away rape jokes! Oh the humanity! What ever will we do?

It was the last bastion after they took the racist, Jew and dead baby jokes. We have nothing left.

If you demand respect or gratitude for your volunteer work, you're doing volunteering wrong.

God, Gandhi, Frodo Baggins - whoever is out there watching over us - send help.

"Eternal wisdom"

The rats will memorize these pearls of wisdom and include the sentences in their daily prayer.

With some of the things I've seen people post over the years I'm actually astounded that they know how to use a computer. XD

I doubt that humanity will still exist in 100 years.

Wanna place a bet on that?

Goddamnit, seems like everyone knows about the bet.

There was a good amount of time when there weren't many conservatives on the Internet. They were busy bashing it for being scary and dangerous... synonymous with the antichrist.
Conservatives, in general, LOVE reacting to everything in the most negative way possible; they are by nature reactionists. They also need to have a negative opinion on everything, because in their conservative heads everything is always about about them.

I describe myself as a little dose of toxic masculinity.

They probably operated Facebook with their phone. It is much more streamlined ;)

Back in the day there was no like/dislike buttons on the internet.

You are too young and have no idea what and how the internet was ”back in the day”.

Unfortunally the entire internet has become stuck in the eternal september.

I generally post with a "come at me, bros" attitude, so I am used to having moderators jump at me.

Everyone should post with a "come at me, bros" attitude. Nobody really says what they really think anymore, and if they do they have to sugarcoat it for fear of getting flamed. Just look at Arlo's video on Hey Pikmin. Nicest guy in the world, but half of youtube jumped down his throat for not liking a game that wound up being just as poorly recieved as federation force.

Oh yes, with that oyu prove old school knowledge. I myself only came after the eternal september (I think '95 or '96), but at least I know about it. Funny, that AOL changed the internet forever, but lost itself in the changes and is no longer, while the changes persist.

EDIT: For anyone not knowing what it means: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Eternal_September

You are nuts, I got the internet when AOL dial-up was lightening fast. There has always been a like button (in some way or another), it just never meant as much as it does now.
