Forums - Nintendo - RUMOR - Wii bundles and price cuts heading to Europe…and other things...

I can´t believe the pricecut ¿100 euros? Not a chance, but the bundle is possible, a Wii bundled with SSBB and SMG is a utopia.

THIS IS A RUMOR YOU RETARDS...meaning that it might be true or it might NOT be true. Overall, whether it's a rumor or not, it does seem to be pretty pointless. Maybe colors and bundles could be introduced but not a price cut. If the demand is even on par with supply, a price cut should really be enforced about 1-1.5 years from now.

Generation 8 Predictions so far.....(as of 9/2013)

Console that will sell most: Nintendo Wii U

Who will sell more consoles between Microsoft/SONY: SONY

Retards? I don't think anybodies believed it yet. Even the sony boy with the simpsons avatar said it wasn't true in his own anti-Nintendo way.

I don't need your console war.
It feeds the rich while it buries the poor.
You're power hungry, spinnin' stories, and bein' graphics whores.
I don't need your console war.

NO NO, NO NO NO.

There's no reason to be derogatory. People are simply pointing out that this is not a credible rumor.

As people have poined out, this just isn't likely. The Wii is selling better this year than last (by a wide margin) and sales are likely to continue increasing like they did with the Nintendo DS. Why would you cut your prices when you couldn't meet demand? That just doesn't make sense.

This rumor might be considered credible by someone who wants to deny the Wii's current success level -- assuming that it is primarily selling better than the 360, for example, because it's cheaper. And that is obviously not the case as the 360 and Wii are only $30 price difference in the US and the 360 is cheaper in parts of Europe now (correct me if I'm wrong).

I'm not sure if bundles make sense yet, as the big games are selling very well.

lol if this would be true it will definitely kill some competition in that segment. if it is not true, it is too bad for the consumers but more money for nintendo : ) keep on printing money wii! (lolz)

It's all about investors !

"Nintendo downgraded over demand concerns
KBC Securities Japan has lowered Nintendo's stock investment rating from "buy" to "hold", and cut its price target by 30 per cent to JPY 57,500 (EUR 371.2 / USD 575.5) amid fears that demand for the Wii and DS consoles is slowing."

They may cut it to 200.
and the DS to 100
