THIS IS A RUMOR YOU RETARDS...meaning that it might be true or it might NOT be true. Overall, whether it's a rumor or not, it does seem to be pretty pointless. Maybe colors and bundles could be introduced but not a price cut. If the demand is even on par with supply, a price cut should really be enforced about 1-1.5 years from now.

There's no reason to be derogatory. People are simply pointing out that this is not a credible rumor.

As people have poined out, this just isn't likely. The Wii is selling better this year than last (by a wide margin) and sales are likely to continue increasing like they did with the Nintendo DS. Why would you cut your prices when you couldn't meet demand? That just doesn't make sense.

This rumor might be considered credible by someone who wants to deny the Wii's current success level -- assuming that it is primarily selling better than the 360, for example, because it's cheaper. And that is obviously not the case as the 360 and Wii are only $30 price difference in the US and the 360 is cheaper in parts of Europe now (correct me if I'm wrong).

I'm not sure if bundles make sense yet, as the big games are selling very well.
