Forums - Gaming - Super Mario Odyssey will help Nintendo take November from Microsoft. Sony wont slouch either.

Who do you think will sell more units this holiday?

Nintendo 363 68.11%

Microsoft 26 4.88%

Sony 144 27.02%

Total:533

I wonder if stock will be a problem for Switch. I've seen quite a few on the shelves lately...I'm thinking Ninty might be serious about having enough on hand for holiday 2017.

In my eyes, the Xbox One X is a premium product and will sell like so. As others have pointed out it supposedly has smaller allocations (I think there was a report on it for the UK). Seeing how Xbox has done the last NPDs too, i'd expect Sony and Nintendo to beat Microsoft out.

Switch ID: SW-5475-6755-1986

3DS friend-Code: 4613-6380-5406

I assume that 'Nintendo' only includes the Switch? Because it shouldn't be too hard for Nintendo to win if the 3DS is included.

I think that it will be very close between PS4 and Switch, both will do very well. PS4 is a bit more likely to win, because Switch is still having some stock issues.
XOne will get a big boost in sales because of that new console, but I doubt it will be enough to beat the others.
3DS will also sell well, due to the new Pokémon and due to its usual holiday boost, but that won't be enough.

So: PS4 > NS > XOne > 3DS > Vita > 0 > Wii U

That's a guarantee then? Based on what?

Seems to me that competition is growing and exclusive games are trickling on to PC.

its presumptous but I assume its because PS4 just has a lot more exclusives seemingly confirmed for 2018 (compared to either MS or Nintendo).

And honestly who cares if some of their exclusives go to PC. They have been doing PS4/ PC releases for the entire gen and clearly have zero issue with.  Just because some come later to PC isnt really going to change anything.

It is.

Also, a lot of people care, at least I do. I have a PS4 Pro and a very good gaming PC. When more and more exclusive games from the PS4 come to the PC, I tend to buy the game for the latter. I am 100% convinced i'm not the only one.

Did....did they actually let you change your name?

Nintendo has a good chance to outsell the other two if they ship enough consoles. I hope they up their forecast from 10m to 12m.

This game looks so boring.

ninty wins if you include 3DS. pokemon is still huge after all.

otherwise.. I think switch may be able to push 3 mil holiday, looking at how the grey verion is in stock on amazon now.

That is great and all, but im willing to bet most ppl dont have a ps4 and a good gaming pc so i dont think its going to be a problem for Sony.

I don't know why you would bet on that assumption, but I just want to say that a normal PC is even enough. Still, defeats the purpose of calling them exclusive when the option is there.

if you would rather wait and play the game on your PC then that is cool too. more power to you

The waits aren't so bad (if the game releases later) when there's so much else to play.
