You know, I've been thinking the same thing.

The longer we don't hear anything about the game, the bigger the chances it's coming to Wii.

Before people react: I'm a big RE fan and I will buy a 360 or PS3 (if someone has some advice on that choice...) for that game.
Plus I don't want RE5 on Wii, unless it's exclusive. I don't want to be forced to make a decision between controls and graphics. (But Man, what was RE4Wii a great game).

I actually hope for a complete remake of RE2 and 3 (in one game) with the Wii controls.

that is quite subjective according to me.
Remember RE4 on wii = house of the dead,

RE was never suppposed to be an action game like RE4 is (GC/PS2/Wii).
Also remember control is only a part of the gameplay.
Brawl doesn't use wiimote and Mariokart could be easly played with a classic controler...

that is obvious to me. It will greatly improve the cinematic feeling fo the game and that is what survival horror fans who played the game on PS1 want.

It is funny to see that similar thread to port Wii games on PS360 dont exist.
I suppose online, mostly hardcore, gamers are not interested in the Wii's line-up.

RE is supposed to be a survival horror game.

RE4 is a survival ACTION horror game that bring the RE franchise in another completely different level. It is a good game but is it better game ?
Except, maybe, the "regenerator" level and the "village", there was really no survival feeling in the game. It was all about "shooting".

Yeah I agree with you, but I'm willing to bet all my VG$ that RE5 will be an action game. It will be RE4 (GC/PS2 version) with better graphics. I love RE4 (Wii version the most, but I loved the GC version as well) but I still consider REmake to be the best RE. Too bad that those controls will never be seen again. It sucked, but it totally made the game.

The gamecube remake of Resident Evil (1).

If you haven't played it do! It's amazing. Graphics are better than RE4 (due to being pre-rendered), the atmosphere is scary as hell and everything is awesome in that game. The storyline has been expanded from the PS1 version and 80% of the puzzles are changed (tougher and better).

Not to mention the total lack of ammo and herbs.

It's in my top 10 games ever.
