Says who? 50,000 signatures from people who have made no true commitment, and likely wouldn't represent 1/10 of what would need to be sold to justify the port - assuming all 50K are even legitimate.

This isn't like people wrote actual letters by hand, spent money on stamps, and sent them. Or braved freezing weather to harass strangers in the hopes of a signature. If internet petitions were worth a dime a dozen, that'd be worth ten times their current value.

 RE5 is only coming to the Wii in a watered down version, if at all (and my guess is NOT at all). If you must waste your time on this, try asking for a new game, though if the 2million copies of RE4 and REUC haven't convinced them, I'm not sure what a petition would do.

I'm thinking Capcom will bring a new non-on-rail shooter RE game to the Wii. There's obviously demand for RE games there, otherwise I really don't think RE:UC would have sold at all, since on-rail shooters have been out for a while. I was playing RE:UC with a friend, who is a huge RE fan, and not only did he know what was coming before it even happened (down to that stupid rolling boulder), but he said he might have to buy a Wii just for that game!

But anyway, they don't need to bring RE5 to the Wii, it should sell enough on the other consoles. But they should bring a real RE game to the Wii. Perhaps RE6? RE5.5? But to not supply the demand that is most definitely there, would be completely stupid.

I love the RE series. RE4 on the Wii is the best so far. Cmon Capcom make it a Wii exclusive.

because every developer thought the wii would be a POS and didn't bother developing for it. Do you really expect them to drop their 80% projects and just move their stuff to wii? offocurse not they will release it on what they started on. 

what I am saying is if they trusted Nintendos comments people would not need to be asking for games that would of naturally fit. Especially a RE Game. It is not like they are ASKING for every PS3/XBOX360 game.

 How did the shoot himself in the ass?  Are people with Wiis not begging for ps3/360 games? He didn't say people are begging for all ps3/360 games he just said Wii fans are begging for ps3/360 games.  Making him correct. Also people were begging for The Orange Box.

I don't understand why people think that Capcom wouldn't be willing to completely redo RE5. They showed 3 different versions for RE4 before they settled on the version we actually got:
