There must be an RE5 Wii radar or something. I swear hat if someone even insinuates an RE5 Wii there will be detractors upon the thread within seconds.

The wii has the same capacity as the xbox 360. The wii uses nintendo's proprety dvd. SO it would be the same amount. You are forgetting that when not using high resolution textures you save a significantly amount of memory. They could just upgrade the re4 engine which seemed to work perfectly on the wii at 60fps.

I don't think sales is the problem, as the original post shows. It's more that RE5 isn't developed for the Wii. It's a HD type game, not suited for the Wii. They could make one, but it would just be a downgrade, when they could focus on another project.
Ugh.
This game is grossly overtracked. It had only shipped 1.15M at the end of 2007; substantially less than VGC claims it had sold at the time.

Even if it the wii is technically capable of doing it, it's not happening. If you want to play RE5... you know the solution, and it isn't signing internet petitions.
