Bluehole starting to sweat just a little bit. I'm sure the big Fortnite debut pushed this ahead. They were probably trying to get a bigger leverage out of MS before, but now that they may not be the only game in town for BR gaming, plans have likely changed.

It seems PUBG want to get ahead of the copycats so they can score a good amount of sales on the playstation side too.

Yes, I think seeing fortnites success, pushed things forwards.
Hopefully MS doesnt have a year exclusive deal with them.... if they do, it could end up costing PUBG sales from playstation side.

What deos that say about the current sales the PC version has made alone?. Does that mean the PS4 base is 3 times bigger than PC+Xbox combined?.

XB locks down PUBG for a period of time > Fortnite creates similar game mode > PS4 and XB1 players get a taste of Fortnite cross play > Cross play halted > PS decides if its worth allowing it to tempt players and keep them off PUBG on XB1.
That's what it looks like to me anyway. Either that or a threat to PUBG. Join us or this means war. I don't completely buy this "it was an accident" PR.
