So basically Epic releases a BR add-on for their game. price it free, throw it on the PS4 -and suddenly PUBG is interested in the ps4?

Makes sense, thanks Epic. There is no way that PUBG would just "give" their rivals free access to a 60 million (and higher) userbase with no competition.

That said - far more interested in epics. Way more colorful, along with building/destroying/traps makes it far more interesting to me. Throw in smaller maps, faster games, and better optimization with no price tag - and they have a hit on their hands.

Basically yes.

It seems PUBG want to get ahead of the copycats so they can score a good amount of sales on the playstation side too.

Bluehole starting to sweat just a little bit. I'm sure the big Fortnite debut pushed this ahead. They were probably trying to get a bigger leverage out of MS before, but now that they may not be the only game in town for BR gaming, plans have likely changed.

Yes, I think seeing fortnites success, pushed things forwards.

Hopefully MS doesnt have a year exclusive deal with them.... if they do, it could end up costing PUBG sales from playstation side.
