This is terrible. I spent way too much money on this shop! There are still some games I haven't gotten
-Donkey Kong games
-Chrono Trigger
-Strider
-Ys 1 & 2
-Castlevania 1-3
-Ninja Gaiden 1-3

I think some of these are on the eShop. However there will be a lot of Wiiware games that will be lost to the mists of time like the Rebirth series.

Konami should really release a Rebirth Collection on the Switch. Awesome games.

I hope games become available on Switch next year. Wii has by far the best Virtual Console.

13 years is a good run. For those who are wondering, 114 million consoles had the Wii Shop Channel built in.

I'd love that. It would  be extremely easy money for Konami too.

I've been debating with myself for years on whether I should get Ogre Battle 64 on the Wii Shop. I still have a working cart of it on N64, but I fear for the day the battery in that cart (or my N64 itself) dies. If that happens and I don't go ahead and download this game, I may never have access to one of my favorite RPGs of all time (and the BEST writing and story in any JRPG) again. :(
