I disliked everything except the art direction. The combat is seriously terrible, but I recognize that's just my opinion.

I hope people start reflecting on more games. A lot of classics aren't deserving of such. This includes of course, the games I love, and also the games I'm against.

Different strokes for different folks I guess. I liked using the different powers, the mobility the skyhook granted, and once Elizabeth comes into the mix later, the ability to teleport in cover/objects from other dimensions.

The people here are hardly representative of gaming in general so I wouldn't worry much about it.

Bioshock 2 had the best gameplay with great level design.
First one had the best opening but got rather repetitive in the end.
Infinite looked good but the gameplay wasn't up to par. It was a pretty walking simulator.
Yep it's pretty great. Gameplay-wise definitely better than the first Bioshock. Not quite as memorable though.

I wasn't a big fan of Infinite, the story telling was exceptional for video games but it wasn't a well paced game and the end battle was crap.
Regardless, Bioshock 1 is a fantastic game and I even played through it a second time about a year ago. Its not a very long game and I recommend it.
On topic, Bioshock 2 is a really good game. Not significantly different from the original game though.

The storytelling was exceptional for video games? Was it, really?
I mean, I don't play many story games so I guess i'm genuinely asking sort of but ... didn't seem all that great. I feel like other games have done more with less.
Regardless, the combat, AI, and Elizabeth were what made the game awful
