Its dumb how people dont understand how buiness work and just assume Nintendo can make as many devices as they like and not knowing the ins and outs. Do gamers actually think Nintendo make less consoles on purpose? A company which strives on profits to suffocate there own buisness for laughs?

Sure there might be part shortages for certain components for the Switch but one can't make the same case for releases such as the NES and SNES classic.  There are countless people like oh Nintendo can't make that many fucking NES and SNES classic editions because you know it is so fucking hard to get contract manufacturers to make the damn systems.

Finally Nintendo gave a less bullshit excuse saying they did the NES classic edition run based on previous retro consoles systems sold such as Sega and Atari.  Guess what people care more about Nintendo than fucking Atari or Sega.  They should have known there was going to be greater demand and they are finally acting like a proper buisness and not like oh that was a limited release if you didn't get one well then fuck you because we don't care.

Buinesses never work like that. Ever. Nintendo played it safe with the NES and SNES. When they are successful they will make more. Nintendo isnt going to throw a lump of money of a miniature collector console and find out it doesnt sell. How stupid would that be? Did Nintendo know they were going to come across scalpers?  Did they think mini consoles sell? Did the brand come off a decrease with the WiiU?

Nintendo did what any smart buisness would have done and played it safe.

Are they making more Minis? Yes, why because there now is proof that Minis sell.

You missed the part where they discontinued around March or April and stated it was a limited run.  What fan that wanted one and couldn't spot one ever in stock at the stores would be happy with that response?  Basically they released a product which no one could find and then said we are done.  Sorry if you really wanted one.  Now they are backtracking because they know they were in the wrong.  Look I'm not arguing that they were wrong in not being careful on overproducing too much.

What I am fucking pissed about is their entire handling of the situation.  They can go fuck themselves for how they handled the entire PR situation of the NES Classic.  Reggie can go fuck himself with his bullshit excuses.

Do you know why it got discontinued? Theres alot more to it than Nintendo just pulling the plug and saying good bye to money. Nintendo dont work like that. Sure the PR wasnt the best however what difference does it make if its good PR or bad PR? The situation remains the same. If Nintendo could i am sure they would have easily produced more if they could. Why would they turn down money? Because there are things on the buiness side we dont know about.

I was actually scared for a moment there. Reggie saying bitch ass cunt? Holy shit :O

Then he saved it with Knack. Reggie for president

Bullshit.  They could have, should have, would have but they didn't and now they are rectifying it.  There are no part shortages on retro consolses and only Nintendo holding their hands behind their back.

I'm going with 10/10 hardcore because I refuse to use the silly millennial phrase "savage".

Wait, do they plan to ship 10M by the end of this FY just in America or WW?

I've still not personally seen any kind of supply issues in any of the shops around where I live, which is naturally a very narrow perspective all things considered. Could be that the demand here was met fairly quickly and now there seem to be no issues with finding a Switch on store shelves, which is quite nice for anyone who wants to get one.

Hopefully the SNES classic is similarly easy to find once it launches so I might actually be compelled to buy one, unlike what happened with NES classic.
