The majority plays FIFA, Call of Duty and Minecraft. All of them are 60 FPS games. They would be very annoyed if those games were only 30 FPS in the future.

Ok thats quite intersting, are most games 60 or 30 then i have no idea. I also play alot of fifa and yeah if it suddenly became slower i would be annoyed. Ive recently just sunk 100 hours into BoTW that felt fine too but again no idea what fps it is.

Depends on the game. If it's competitive, then 60FPS is almost a given. (Sports games, fighting games, many racers and many shooters). For single player games, FPS is not as important. However, Doom is pretty much build around the idea of 60FPS. It's an extremely fast paced shooter and therefore benefits from 60 FPS a lot more than other games. For example Wolfenstein 2 is going to be 60FPS as well on X1/PS4 but that one won't nearly benefit as much, since there are a lot of stealth sections in the game. It's still a nice bonus though.
