We all know Zelda-like games don't sell well on Nintendo consoles, so smart decision by Capcom.

I am looking forward to playing this game at 4k+ 60fps.
Wonder if I could push it to 8k60.

Okami did well on Wii (well, in North-America). Capcom must think the Switch is over-saturated with Zelda-like games.

I hate you, Capcom. You will not see any of my Euros from now on. Fuck off.

I doubt they'd see them anyway - you're clearly not interested enough in the game to get past what probably is "hurr durr, switch".

Have played the game on my Wii many years ago. Just not in the mood to shell out 300+ for new hardware just for this game. I also would like to play stuff like Street Fighter, RE, and Monster fukin Hunter but nooo. Switch and its "tests".

Fuck them, I'm done.

Neither does Mega Man or Disney games that we remember playing on NES ages ago. It knows what we want: a box for RE Revelations 2 just to download it to the Switch, an an absurdly overpriced version of SF2 with "Way of the Hadouken." Capcom is knocking it out of the park lately.

Should someone be interested enough in a PS2 game that's already been re-done twice to purchase a whole new console? The take-away here is that Capcom has no logic every step of the way, even though it's redundant to say so.

When there's a nice set of games I am interested in available on a system that I don't own, I just buy the system. Granted, not for only three games, buuuuut.... much like I will have to buy a Switch down the road once it really takes the reins over from the 3DS and Vita... even though I'd much rather not to - I dislike both the hardware and the ecosystem.

He's interested in more than just that, as he himself said. And many of his recent posts have to do with having more games on Switch, hence my assumption.

Well, for me it is this: Okami is a great game. But I wouldn't double dip (or triple dip in my case) without any additional advantage. Playing it on the go might be this. If Okami would rereleased on Switch, I highly would consider to triple dip. So... meh. I can replay it whenever I want.

Well, so many people already said in many threads they would buy Zelda, Mario, Fire Emblem and Metroid ... if Nintendo goes finally 3rd-party. There are a lot of people who don't buy a console from the 'wrong' side, even if it offers games they like. I myself mostly dislike western 3rd-party, I tested it with my PS3. So I feel no itch for PS4. I wait if Atlus decides to port Persona 5 to Switch down the road (maybe next year), if not I'll get it on PS3. After that... nothing really on PS4 fuels my interest. Otherwise I would get it, because I actually have no problem in owning multiple game-systems. But after all my PS3 was a lot less played than my WiiU and especially the 3DS, so I doubt PS4 offers much more.

Back to Okami: it is a great game - but also old and I played it already. As I said: I would probably get it again if I could play it on the go, but not again on the TV. For that I just fire up my PS2 (that actually had more interesting games than PS3).

Its very strange that this game isn't still announced for Switch, it could easily run on Switch, it would be quite good fit on Switch, and Capcom would easily earn money on Switch version of game.
