That's the thinking that lost Sony so much ground in the PS3/360 gen. It's the thinking that put MS so far behind today.

Well MS is like less anti consumer then the other 2 since they still allow minecraft on everything xD. |
I don't mind exclusives, it gives consoles a unique identity. It's not like I'll be able to play everything any way.

Atlus has a track record of porting Persona games to handhelds. Meanwhile not even Catherine is on Steam. Emulation threads should be locked. Unless you own the game it's basically stealing. |
Well, always that you play a game without owning it it is stealing. Emulation makes no difference.

Bullshit. There are a lot of reasons why Sony lost ground in the PS3/360 gen (f.e. 600 dollar for a console which launched 12 - 16 month after the much better priced 360).
The lack of exclusive titles wasn't one of them: http://gematsu.com/exclusives/ps3

It enables stealing. Emulators should be illegal for the same reason locksmithing tools are illegal without a liscense. |
So you say gog.com should closing, because they sell games on emulators? I disagree, only because gog is the best platform for buying games. But afterall, you americans can do what you want, as long as your shenanigangs doesn't affect us in europe (including gog, which is based in poland).

That's lame excuse.
You recognized your hypocrisy.
Minecraft is released Nov 2011.
MS bought Mojang Sep 2014.

Sony tried forcing Blu-Ray into every home with the PS3. Do you really think there would have been a $600 price tag without it? The reveal of the XB1 was a disaster in part thanks to the focus on T.V., Sports, and T.V.
I don't have an issue with Zero's thinking that exclusives don't win console wars. I have a problem with him thinking that a focus on small insignificant extra media features will win a console war. Don't get me wrong on that point either though. If somebody made a console that doubled as a holographic projector it would sell like hotcakes, the same as the PS2 did by being a DVD player.
I'm sick of MS fan's hypocrisy .
Emulation talk is waste of time.

MS could have stopped the release of the PS4 version in September 2014 (or do you really think Mojang would have risked the deal by releasing the PS4 version without Microsoft's blessing?)... they didn't.
MS could have stopped the release of the Vita version in October 2014... they didn't.
MS could have decided to not support the Wii U with Minecraft in 2015... they didn't.
MS could have decided to not support the Switch with Minecraft in 2017... they didn't.
MS could have decided to let the PlayStation and Nintendo versions die by not supporting these with patches and content updates... they didn't:
