Forums - Nintendo Discussion - Fire Emblem Warriors launching October 20th in Europe! New characters revealed

My only question is to buy this and a Switch in 2017 or 2018. Looks great, but not sure I have time now to add another system.

The chose weird voices for the characters. They should've stayed with the original voices.

I am a Nintendo fanatic.

Takumi!
I'm sold

Im just buying it because its Musou on Switch, the most time Ive spent with a FE game was the couple weeks I played the mobile game

Must say dumb release date though, not sure if I'll bother with it before SMO or not.

Wel, it does make sense because those are the most popular ones. I'll have to see if i pick it up. It looks promising, but i need to see more gameplay variation.

I certainly don't deny their popularity, in-fact they're the ones to thank that the series is still alive in the west here. It's just that from the other games you have such interesting and beloved characters, a lot more so than characters such as Lissa. In addition, this is a game for fans like Hyrule Warriors, and while of course the 3DS games are most popular, there's no reason to outright not include at least popular characters from other games such as Ike and Lyn. One reason they would do this is perhaps for the sake of story, but i find that as a somewhat weak tradeoff.

They may be included later, as DLC. The same happened with Hyrule Warriors . Or... at least, we can hope for it.

"There's a Fire Emblem Warriors Limited Edition Coming to Europe"

So, only Europe then?

Yeah, considering the success of Hyrule Warrior's DLC, i wouldn't be surprised if they did it here. It would've been nice to have characters from more entries in the base game though

Everything else I found said "Fall 2017".

Hmm, OK. I guess I probably wouldn't have got it in any case.

Maybe the target audience is not the same as Mario Odyssey's? Since it is a mosou game, why it compete to a open world platformer game?

If you really wanted this game, just buy it when you really have time for it, $60 price won't fall into $40 within the first 6 months or so. Will buy this once I'm finished with my current games or maybe around the Christmas vacation.

Well since the Switch isn't getting much big games compared to the other 2, spacing out is the best way.

But maybe they think that halfway through October, they will get lots of Switch Stock, so they try to release it near that time.
