62k Switch - 53k PS4's (slim+Pro models) = 9k differnce.

Nintendo sold 9k more Switch's than PS4's.... not 18k more.

Also Nintendo fans arnt freaking out.

Of course the Japanese will be small compared to the rest of the world. Compare Japan to any other single market besides the U.S, and Japan will come out on top. There's NO OTHER market in the world nearly as big as the U.S and Japanese markets. Same goes for the music Industry.

There are many kids nowadays who were not around when it launched or weren't old enough for a handheld when it launched. Then obviously there's those that rebuy because their older model breaks or because they want a newer sku Nintendo releases.

Amazing second week for Dragon Quest 11 and PS4 hardware is selling amazingly!!! Could Dragon Quest 11 become the best selling game of the 8th generation in Japan?

I think Crash Bandicoot did alright (at least compared to the COMG pre-orders). Yes I expected it to do better first week but it's a cheap game so there is a chance that it might be a leggy game similar to Minecraft on PS Vita (of course I'm not expecting it to do 1.1M+ but 150k+ or 200k+ would be very nice imo).
