But why? They literally have a terrible disadvantage to the NBA teams. Unless you can only do wnba teams against each other (not sure why you would), I'm left feeling this is meant to simply be a PR stunt.

I'd buy WNBA Live... If they have bikini DLC. As it stands, I'm just buying NBA 2K18 because it's on the Switch. I'm actually considering getting the EA game.

WBNA vs WBNA teams. Lilke in FIFA female teams cant take on male teams.

Don't. Seriously. They're fucking awful. I wish they weren't, because 2K has been getting a bit lazy, and far too microtransaction happy with their games lately, but EA's basketball games are just straight up trash in comparison. They could give NBA Live away for free at launch, and it still wouldn't gain traction on 2K games.

Older NBA Live games were worse than NBA 2K games imo but NBALIVE 15 and 16 stepped their game up a lot and i perfer the NBA Live gameplay more than 2Ks gameplays now. Also NBA Live 18 is adding a new Park mode which has more features than NBA 2Ks park mode. The only advamtage id say 2K has now is the career story mode which is could see NBA Live 19 having since FIFA and Madden now have one.

NBA Live 15 was terrible (55 metascore) and 16 wasn't that much better (59 metascore). Last time Live was even close to being as good as any 2K basketball game was NBA Live 2005.

I enjoyed NBA Live 15 and 16 more than NBA 2K15 and NBA 2K16.
