dongo is 59-84 in breakdown (10th place), so he sucked his way into the playoffs with favorable matchups in a lot of weeks. Someone who buys NBA 2k18 on Switch doesn't deserve that, but perhaps the football gods were generous out of pity for his poor soul. The person who has the easiest knockout round matchup this week is MTZehvor. dongo's team got 100+ points in only two weeks this season, as if that would pose a challenge. |
I'm not quite as confident. Some of my most reliable players have really difficult matchups this week. Russell Wilson is going up against the Jags' defense with Seattle's nonexistent offensive line. Jacksonville gives up the fewest points against passers this week and absolutely shredded the Steelers earlier this year, who have similar O-Line problems.
Todd Gurley is going up against Philly, who gives up the second fewest points to RBs. The Rams, unfortunately, adopt a similar mindset to Pittsburgh, where they won't try to establish the run unless they can get the passing game going first, and if they can't get the passing game going right off the bat they will keep passing and not stop until they either lose or start picking up yards through the air (see the Seattle game earlier this year). Hopefully Goff can get something of a rhythm going early on, or I have no doubt that LA will just pass nonstop until at least the third quarter.
Meanwhile, Devin Funchess is presumably going to be guarded by arguably the best active corner in the league in Xavier Rhodes. The guy that held Julio Jones to 2 catches for 24 yards, Antonio Brown to 5 catches for 62 yards, and Michael Thomas to 5 catches for 45 yards. At the moment, I'm going to try replacing him with Peyton Barber and hope that Doug Martin gets a limited workload due to this being his first week back from a concussion. If that doesn't happen, and Dongo has a similar game to last week, I could be in real trouble.
