Is he going to ban women from formal education next, so the boys won't be distracted?

Yes, yes, I'm being facetious. It's the only response I have left for the frustration that has been Trumps presidency.

People are going to be outraged, but honestly, how many transgender people wants to enroll in military?

Seriously, how many people are we really talking about here? 10? 15 each year?

I don't but medical doctors do:

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/International_Statistical_Classification_of_Diseases_and_Related_Health_Problems

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/DSM-5

It is classified in DSM-5 that doesn't mean it it a serious mental disorder...

erectile dysfunction is identified in DSM-5.... so if you cannot get boner, you cannot join the military?

Not many boners gonna happen anyway with a bunch of trannies running around. ;)

I'll just say I agree and leave it at that.

You can call it discrimination but really its about selecting the most able bodied. Not allowing someone with a disability is discrimination as well however you cant exactly fight if you are disabled. Having a man dressed as a women in the womens barracks and a women dressed as a man in the mens barracks is just not something troops should have to deal with. They need to be focused on fighting the enemy and accomplishing whatever goal is in front of them. It is a distraction they dont need and doesnt help anyone.

You realize women don't wear dresses when they're in military garb, right?  Men and woman wear very similar uniforms.  Plus, as said earlier, the majority of military jobs are domestic and not in barracks.

Well women do have finally recieved specialized armor molds in 2016 after having to wear the male ones for years, wich put them at a significant disatvantage in combat.

Women have shorter torsos and smaller waists as well as wider hips, so the male molds would press in at all sorts of places they weren't designed to put pressure on and provide insufficient protection.

Not that I want to endorse Superman4s inane comment in any way. I just wanted to point out that women and men have been wearing exactly the same armor in the US military. So much so, that it was detrimental to womens health and safety.

Wonder how this is going to work? There are quite a few trans already enlisted. What happens to them. They are going to be like sorry, but fuck you and your service, you're discharged.

About 2,500-7,000 in active military and 1,400-4,000 in reserves

I'm sure you can roughly do the math percentagewise from that.

Whether a person is fit to serve in the military should have nothing to do with anything except their physical and mental suitability for the job. Other factors are completely irrelevant, and claiming otherwise is just nonsensical.

All these people complaining about the costs of Transgender health care(as in caring for health) should note that the army spends 84 million dollars on erectile dysfunction medicine, 41 million of which are for viagra alone. By comparison estimates are that including more transgender health care measurements will be around 8 million at the most extreme. Small cost considering they spend about 6 billion in total

I find it disgusting a draft dodger has the galls to make a call like this. Trans soldiers have more bravery in their left pinky toe than Trump has had his entire life.
