Do other versions of this game have that more cartoony art style?

Yep

The game apparently really, really sucks. A shame.

Yep

Makes sense it got ported then.   I just thought it might been the sort of situation like where the Wii got a cartoony version of Ghostbusters and later Madden games while the PS360 got the more realistic versions.

Shit games.

I saw gameplay for a previous R.B.I. Baseball game before, and it looked really bad, so don't get your hopes up too high guys

I can tell from the screenshots that the game is about baseball. Making a good game based on baseball is about as farfetched as turning tofu into something edible.

Legend11 correctly predicted that GTA IV (360+PS3) would outsell SSBB. I was wrong.

Well

1. The MLB: The Show games are good. I also liked ESPN Baseball Tonight for the Genesis, Super Baseball 2020 is fun, and I've played a few other ones that I like, too.

2. I don't think tofu tastes that bad, either.

How does one make a good baseball game?

I have to say, I prefer baseball, hockey and soccer games over basketball and football games.

I understand there's a batting portion and a pitching portion and a catching portion and these all involve timing. The timing of your swing and timing of your pitch and what not.

I'm guessing that's how baseball games work.

Unless you are really incompent it is also hard to make a bad baseball game, it one of those things if you play it safe you will make at least a decent game.
