Trunks looks bad ass as always!

Just how I wanted him. I bet the next character will be Picollo, followed by either park ranger 17 or auntie 18.

They say Switch owners have to buy shittyass Xenoverse 2 before they port this.

yes please. The only character I want.

Honestly the Cell arc had the best version of the DBZ characters imo. Trunks so badass

I guess this is before DB Super Trunks? It doesn't look like he has blue hair xD (I don't get why he does in Super...)

Also, this game is looking pretty great. This really feels like fights straight from the anime.

Kid Goku is the obvious choice. Iteration 1 yamcha. King Piccolo. Anyone from the red ribbon army. Even just younger versions of the cast like Tienshinhan or Krillin since their techniques were more interesting back then.

I'd like to see Kid Goku, King Piccolo, Jackie Chun, Tao Pai Pai, and Launch.

Jackie Chun and Tao Pai Pai! YES!

YES YES YES. I've waited so long for a game like this.

There's only 2 races: White and 'Political Agenda'
2 Genders: Male and 'Political Agenda'
2 Hairstyles for female characters: Long and 'Political Agenda'
2 Sexualities: Straight and 'Political Agenda'

The fact that none of that was animation scares me and amazes me. This is how Dragonball Z fighters should look and play. I've never seen anything so fluid in a DBZ fighter before!

No all the attacks are animated. That's why it looks like the show. The game designers animated the energy in the tradtional sense. Instead of using the game engine to put 2D pieces together to mimic the animation.

So some of the assets are 2D then? I was under the impression that this was all 3d animation and modeling.

Not sure I've ever played a portable version of a fighting game. Then again there is no portable version of this game available.

They can be a ton of fun. I personally put at least a hundred hours on the original Dissidia FF, it was a blast. Fighting games make sense on the Switch, specially since you always have 2 controllers to play offline with others.
