Media have mostly discredited themselves as they help Trump get elected in my eyes.

All CNN did was talk a lot about Trump and that was because there was a lot of news about him so they did their jobs and talked about it.

I didn't expect Trump to look like the more reasonable party in this story...

Everyone's just desensitized to Trump by now Though I guess we're desensitized to CNN too.

Which was treat him more as a circus act and get billions in revenues off it and know say they are defenders of the people  to stop trump.

You bitches gave him billions in free ad time lol

Yeah its free ad time but they were just reporting the news and Trump was in lots of the news.

Eh, the way Trump has worked the media this whole time is pure genius. This has been a very entertaining ride.

Trump is a hard working conservative Christian family guy, a Republican and a Capitalist. There is always going to be conflict of opinion when a pro-business Capitalist President like Trump is running America as his own business empire. Trump has to remind everyone every day he is pro-Business and is mega rich and most importantly he is a Capitalist.

What kind of Christian marries a porn model, divorces multiple times, states sexual interest in his daughter, talks terribly about women, donates billions to a country which bombs others, profits off a cancer organization, and breaks several of the ten commandments?

This narrative that he's hated because he's Christian is bullshit. He's criticized for pulling a politician 101 and kissing the ass of conservative christians by pretending to be religious. He's the complete opposite of a family guy. I wouldn't want to be anywhere near my dad if he did half the stuff Trump did

Well people want the media to be free to say whatever it wants about the president... and I mostly support that.

But the president has to just take it? Eh, maybe Trump showed it doesn't have to be like that and nobody gets it worse than the right.

Nobody has ever been attacked like Trump and he's admitedly not a real politician. But as long as he pushes the agendas of his supporters, he will get support. That's how this works.

Yes, the president has just to take it, like every other individual as well. The president has no more power over the media than any other citizen even if he likes to think otherwise. Trying to bash and control media are clear signs of someone who would rather like to be a dictator than a democratic leader.

If anything the president should be even more professional than any other individual in the country. He is doing the opposite right now despite being the top role model of an entire country. If he can't take the heat from the media he chose the wrong office to run for. Which is funny, since he always like to present himself as the absolute alpha male and at the same time is running for his safe space the moment he gets attacked.

Uhhh... no. Inviduals don't have to just take it, they can respond. The difference is public figures have less rights when it comes to defamation.

I'm not implying the president should use his power to silence the media, I'm saying he's allowed to respond. Quite frankly, Trump responding has hurt CNN because they're idiots and demonstrate it when they respond to Trump.

Again, the media is very unfair to Trump so I think its good he challenges them. CNN has gone from one the most respected news outlets to a joke. Trump has challenged the media that attacks him and his response has mostly been in his favor.

I don't really care how a president SHOULD act, Trump was never supposed to be the traditional president. I credit Trump for putting a spotlight on the media and it ultimately showed its mostly garbage.

Telling lies about the media shows nothing more than it's apparently ok for the president to constantly lie to defame his enemies. Let's not kid ourselves, the vast majority he said about the media are clearly lies.

We shouldn't give credit to a pathological liar when he sometimes by accident gets something right.

Yes the president has to "take it". Every president has done so. That's part of the fucking job, if you didn't want criticism DON'T RUN FOR PRESIDENT. This is like joining boxing and then complaining that you don't like getting punched. What exactly did you think you were getting into?

Obama was trashed non-stop by a lot of people who really basically lost their shit over a black man as president. Is anyone asking for Donald Trump's birth certificate? As long as he pushes policies that a good majority of people oppose he will also always have resistance. That's also how this works.

As I just responded to Vivster, no he doesen't have to just take it. He can respond to CNN and other networks that push anti Trump agendas for ratings.

Obama being black was one of the best things about his administration, it was good to see some diversity in the most diverse country in the world. As a president though, he was mostly a progressive hack. Nobody asking for Trump birth certificate. Instead they attack him for countless other things.

Every president has resistance. The resistance Obama had is nothing compared to what Trump is dealing with. Thanks to propagand like, "he's gonna kill millions!"
