Horizon going up because of price cuts. Seems rather fast and desperate. It seriously just went down to $39.99 not too long ago lol

That's the beauty of Playstation. We get really good and competitive prices on our software.  You won't see games,  no matter how good staying at $60 for years.  If a game doesn't sell good you will get awesome price cuts to boost sales,  if a game like Horizon does sell good you will still get these awesome sales because Sony have made massive profits already so have no problem pricing it competitively to boost sales further.

We get really good and competitive prices on our software.  You won't see games,  no matter how good staying at $60 for years.  If a game doesn't sell good you will get awesome price cuts to boost sales,  if a game like Horizon does sell good you will still get these awesome sales because Sony have made massive profits already so have no problem pricing it competitively to boost sales further.  

I'll never get the Stockholm Syndrome of being in an ecosystem where the platform holder refuses to lower the prices of their games to create a false narrative of value, instead of opening the opportunity for more people to play the game when sales are slow, or to expose more people to the IP. That line of thinking is poison. The market should determine the value of a product. Failing to meet people halfway by keeping costs high when sales were dying on the vine killed a certain console this gen for a reason.

Couldn't have said it any better.  Playstation software prices are so good.  Psn sales are frequent and impressive too.

Id rather see 10 games selling 1 million each, than 9 flopping and 1 selling 10 million.

Playstation promotes competitivity, price wise AND quality wise.

We as consumers have the option of coping day one or waiting and buy it at a discount price.

It is not viable to mantain the full price on the ecosystem, there is too much competition.

Not even Horizon could mantain a 60$ price tag. Hell, not even Uncharted.

Man Switch needs stock to remain steady. The PS4 just going along as usual selling very well. And nice jump for HZD! $30 is a steal for the game! This game ahs been selling great! And deserves every sale it gets!
