Forums - Nintendo Discussion - Seems that Platinum Games is teasing Bayonetta 1+2 for Switch

Would be nice to see, Bayo 2 was good, but sold pretty badly, so maybe it will do better on the Switch

How the heck is it offensive? The only thing I can think of is her outfit.

I'm a Christian and the plotline basically states God is some lunatic child monster who is a nature of force and a whole bunch of other things that basically shows this designer twisted abrahamic religions into his own sick way.

It's a joke though..

Yes, please!
And can we get Bayonetta 3 along with them?

Those images seem a bit confusing to me. So, it's either Platinum asking what games they want for Switch or [someone asking] if they were willing to port those games?

Either way, i can't see how this means Platinum is teasing anything, let alone Bayonetta (there are more games there!).

This news generated a buzz big enough to convince Platinum to start porting the two games on Switch even if it wasn't in their plans and if their post wasn't meant to be a tease...

This is one of the most conflicted feeling game series I've played. They are so much fun to play, but the dialogue, story, and some of the scenes are inappropriate to flat out offensive.

How is her outfit offensive? O.o

Also I hope we get this on Switch! I didn't have a U, but this would be a day 1 buy for me =)

PSn - greencactaur
Nintendo Switch FC - SW - 5152 - 6393 - 5140 Please feel free to add me :)

Better be teasing for three as well!

if they add motion controls and HD rumble, then it's sure worth it!

on the other hand this is too many WiiU ports, I don't say it's bad, but it's better to make some actual Switch games before flooding the system with older WiiU games

don't mind my username, that was more than 10 years ago, I'm a different person now, amazing how people change ^_^

all gods are crazy, greeks and romans split them up, christians and other just slammed all of them together to make it easier :P
(seriously.. i have no clue how you can belive in anything like it but on the other hand.. i never will either.. and i don't care)

do think it is amusing that you (note.. you as in believers.. not you as in just you) can take offence in fiction if you believe the opposite.. then you sound kinda insecure about the whole believing thing..

Oh boy this again. The moment you don't like something people start saying you doubt your self. False in so many ways. That's like saying because I find murder offensive, that means I feel tempted to murder someone myself (which I don't).

Bayonetta is a highly stylized fictional fantasy game. Your implication is that it would be some terrible thing to read Harry Potter, simply because it technically is entirely at odds with your religion, despite the fact that it's a fictional book and not intended to be taken seriously (in a real life context) whatsoever. The same applies to Bayonetta which makes your comment just absolutely bizarre.

and frankly if you're going to take a religious point of view- technically speaking the majority of the games you play probably aren't morally entirely okay, since almost every game involves violence for entertainment

just pointing out that it's a bit hypocritcal and strange to point the religious finger at something like Bayonetta when the odds are you play games that don't fall in line with your beliefs. Naturally of course, since there is a difference between the fiction we watch or read or experience and our real lives
