Of course, as long as it makes you happy im fine with whatever you wanna say.

Uncharted 3 is a bit overrated but I don't recall issues with the controls. Luckily, UC4 game play is smooth but tight, with an overall polish that sets a new bar for the franchise.

Can't really go with you on this one. Gameplay and control are fine mostly. I'd rather be pointing fingers at The Last of Us instead actually. The only real problem, if one would call it that, is that occasionally, Drake will jump to his death because I can't get him to aim correctly or just jumps wrong. I blame it on the sloppy Dual Shock though.

LOL OK bro, whatever makes you feel better...

I'm just stating a fact.

The fact is that he has standards, tastes, and opinions different from yours. Not lower.

Get over yourself.

To be fair, I get what the OP is saying. Sometimes, all this animation detracts from the gameplay. It's the reason Final Fantasy XIV changed the animations on the characters. Sure, it didn't 'look' as good, but when you want responsiveness, having all these extra animations detracts from the gameplay.

It's also why I had an issue with modern reviews of Shadow of the Colossus and Ico. The controls were criticized for not being modern enough in several reviews. Specifically, the idea of having to press an extra button to go over edges instead of having it automatically animate. For me, I like to actually have full control. I don't want to feel on rails and press buttons yet have to worry that more or less will happen. I like to be in control.

I face palm at some of the comments in this thread. All i have to say to a select few is "double standards"

Anyways i haven't had any issues with the controls fate the first patch on PS3.

I don't remember having trouble with the controls in U3, I thought the first game felt worse

Had no major issues. Played it at launch and enjoyed the hell out of it.
