Since this dude likes to endlessly ramble lol here's the TL:DR: Apparently if you're playing in docked mode on a 4K display that supports higher than a 60hz refresh rate, you have 120hz checked on in system settings, and the game you're playing supports 120hz (in his first example it's Street Fighter 6) the Switch 2 will automatically lower the resolution to 1440p to run the game at 120hz. At 4K resolution docked, the Switch 2 can only support up to 60fps. So if you're playing a game like Street Fighter 6 on a 4K display that supports high refresh rates, then you may want to turn off 120hz in your Switch 2's system settings, so the resolution doesn't get automatically dropped.
He then shows MK World, which doesn't support 120hz, so that feature is disabled the entire time you're playing MK World, and you can't turn it on. But then there's games like CP2077, which does support 120hz at 40fps at 4K resolution, so you would want that enabled.
Quite the confusing setup Nintendo has right here currently lol
