Because I didnt get the chance to play it on WiiU but did play the 3DS version.

A Switch version would be the best of both worlds - the extra content and features from the 3DS version and the visual/graphics of the WiiU version (improved over).

im so excited for NSW2 to drop. Just imagining BotW/TotK at a smooth upres’d 60fps makes me go mad! On top of a new MarioKart, Donkey Kong, Deltarune, Kirby Air Ride, and likely lots more for the Holiday quarter? Oh man…the latter half of this year is gonna be insane as a Nintendo gamer.

I'm not playing any first party title until I get a Switch 2.

Mainly been playing third party titles and NSO titles.

Once I get a Switch 2 - aside from MK World, I'm gonna be playing Zelda BotW again - will be my first time playing the switch version and at better resolution/fps performance - cant wait.

I last played BotW on WiiU back in 2017.

I won't bother. I'm gonna be focusing on the brand new first party games coming to Switch 2.

Their are some interesting things to note when looking at the games that have had free upgrades announced: Nintendo Switch Games with Free Nintendo Switch 2 Updates - Nintendo US

For example it seems odd that NSMB U Deluxe is there, but Super Mario Wonder is not. Will it just come as a later date as a free upgrade? Or are they planning on adding some levels and making it a paid upgrade instead?

That Animal Crossing and Smash Bros, the 2nd and 3rd biggest games on the Switch aren't in that line up is also a strange one.

They need to upgrade Hyrule Warriors: Age Of Calamity. Good game, but it runs poorly.

Xenoblade 2 as well, I've never got round to that series but I'll definitely be checking it out soon. It's dynamic resolution so depending how Switch 2 handles BC it might see improvements even without a patch but IIRC Xenoblade 2 dropped even below 480p in handheld mode and that'd look awful on a 7.9" 1080p screen.

Wonder might go that route.

Smash might get a new version like MK8 Deluxe.

I'm just glad majority of games on that list I havent played on Switch yet lol.
