I am leaning towards deliberate misinformation on X, because the employee said nothing at all about a Switch 1 game card.

The trolls and haters don't have much to attack, so they have to make up things. The worst technological specification of Switch 2 is its battery life, but how much are we talking about? Exactly. Can't attack the hardware, can't attack the software lineup, so pricing of hardware and software is the only thing that could gain any traction. And even then, it's in the same ballpark as a PS5 which is already 4.5 years old.

Why did drift suddenly become an issue with controllers? I don't remember it ever being a thing before the Switch and then PS5. I never had issues with older consoles. Did anyone else?

But I do wonder why all the console manufacturers are allergic to hall effect. It can't be that expensive when reasonably priced controllers from 8bitdo EasySMX etc have them.

I've seen some say they thought the $449 pricetag was set already in anticipation of some tariffs but apparently not.
