I didn't see that post (or I've forgotten it) but I believe you.

Even if this Direct didn't have much for me personally, it did alleviate a lot of my frustration simply cos it's just nice to be kept informed in uncertain times.

I look forward with hope to a full General Direct around when E3 would've been then. Fingers crossed for Breath of the Wild 2 and Bayonetta 3...

Set me SMT V in the lot and we're packed !

SMTV, Bayonetta 3, and Prime 4, the Holy Triforce of Switch vaporware. :(

Bravely Default 2 making all characters and enemies do their actions instantly on their turns is a massive improvement in battle.

Hopefully they improved the interface in Xenoblade Chronicles Definitive Edition like they said they did.

? Think you got the games mixed up in this reply.

Well, you don't have to beat the main story of Xenoblade Definitive Edition to play the new "Future Connected" Epilogue, so I might just end up borrowing the game if one of my friends gets it to play just the bonus stuff.

Ring Fit is too good.

3DS was released in the west 9 years ago this week making it the joint third longest active Nintendo platform with the NES as it comes to a close this year despite the rough start the platform had the current longest active Nintendo platform before being discontinued is the Gameboy running for 14 years which is 3 years even after its successor the GBA launched and a year before the NDS released, the DS itself is the second longest active with 10 years.

DS and 3DS however didn't really have staggered launches like the GB and NES as the former two were available WW within a month of the initial launch unlike the latter two as NES came out in Japan in 83 and the west in 85 while hitting PAL regions in 86 while GB was out in Japan and NA in 89 and everywhere else in 90.

Gonna be honest, I didn't like the 3DS, but still, at least it was a case of them supporting a system longer than usual, hopefully the same goes for Switch in this regard.

I think one of my favorite things about Nintendo consoles (aside from their game libraries, obviously) is how durable they are. The fact that my Wii is still working perfectly while my ps4 already broke even though I bought it years later.

I remember when Morgan Webb, formerly of G4, did a test to see which of the three sixth generation home consoles could take the most abuse. GameCube won, with the original Xbox being a close second.

The ps2 is one of my favorite consoles but I had like three of them due to broken disc reader.

Amen. My SNES I got for Christmas in 1994 still works, as does my N64 from Christmas 1998.
