Finally!! Been waiting on dates for these ever since they were announced

I'm hoping they get IX out on the eShop in February or March - I did VI and VII a couple of years ago and III and IV the year before that (and have only ever played IV through IX), and IX is one of my favourites. Really looking forward to trying X and XII for the first time.

Yeah IX is my absolute favorite entry in the series, I'm hoping if we have a January or February Direct it'll be one of those "Surprise, available now!" announcements during the showing. Maybe we'll be lucky and they'll do VII & IX at the same time XD

It’s nice to see the Kansas City Royals are doing something with their time other than preparing for the upcoming season.

The entrance quotes are hilarious!

2 things... One on topic one possibly off.

Is FFXII a remake? Cause I tried to play through the game a couple of times, and really wanted to like it, but kept getting bored at a certain point (a little past the desert I guess). Is it the exact same game, or did they make some qol changes to make it better in the Zodiac age that will come over?

Also, I need some Pokemon Go friends. Pwease be my fwiend? 2798 7242 5705

Man just noticed something while firing up Smash today, during the intro each character is shown, almost all of them in their own background or with members of their own franchise, had to say though this made me chuckle. Think about the stage, the character and what else is there....

If you don't get it you probably didn't play Melee competitively :D

It's a remastered version of the International Zodiac Job System version of the original FFXII that never released outside of Japan. It makes changes to the job system & license board, where you pick a "class" for each character that only has access to specific licenses, rather than having the massive & open board of the original game which had access to everything. You can also control guest and Esper characters unlike the original, and the every character and monster has been given a stat rebalance. There's also a convenient Turbo Mode where you can speed the game up 2x or 3x to make travelling and fighting go much quicker.

As someone who did feel a bit dragged down by the slower parts of the original game on PS2, I thought the remaster did a good job of speeding these parts up and kept my interest in playing.

Hmmmmmmmmm... those do sound like changes that will make the game better.  Dunno if it's enough to make me want to buy the game again at 50 bucks though.  Probably gonna wait for a price drop.  Thanks for the info.

I don't play Melee competitively, but I get the joke. XD

And I don't mean the joke that is Nintendo Switch Online. What are they gonna put behind a paywall next, actually turning your Switch system on? -_-

Dunno, maybe the free to play games like Fortnite, Paladins and Warframe, MS gets away with it and there is a ton of kids got Switches for Christmas that I'm sure Fortnite at the very least is up there in their top played games right now, mums being hit for another 20e would be worth it for a years peace and baby sitting.

We only get two in January xD The third is Japan only

It's like he's going out of his way to make it the opposite of what we want. Did he even say if they were gonna put games from other Nintendo systems on it?

Think of it like the Switch launch, pretty much was Zelda and a few mediocre games for the first month... give it time, bit of patience the goods will come.
