What's weird is that Digital Foundry did a video on the Switch version a YEAR ago and found it had no issues in this regard. I even have it installed on an SD Card, which I don't think helps, but I've heard it's the most efficient way to play Switch games.

It is weird, maybe something happened during the localisation.

Fastest way to play a game is with it installed in the internal storage, not sure how much space is needed for MH and if you have enough. To download it there, just eject your microsd while the console is Switched off and reinstall it without the card.

So, I guess the Direct is probably gonna be on Thursday then...?

If they're gonna to leave the direct pretty much as is then we could see it this week, but they could also be making significant changes meaning a longer wait. Hopefully it's the former, not only so we get the direct sooner but also this month's Splatoon 2 update.

Thankfully I don't believe in this kind of astrology crap. Two of my favorite Pokémon in there, instead I get Plusle and Minun... ew.

How can you not like Plusle and Minun... What kind of monster are you??

I'm already not the biggest fan of Pikachu, from then on the Pikachu clones are just the stupidest, most pointless Pokémon to exist.

Then why do you have a Pikachu clone as your avatar?

Where is this direct anouncement ?

So I recently got Monster Hunter Generations Ultimate and there have been issues with frames ... I don't know if it's frame rate or frame pacing (I think it is both), but in hubs or at completely random times (like drinking a potion) it will all the sudden dip. It's surprisingly noticeable, even though I think it's only a few frames.

I even have it installed on an SD Card, which I don't think helps, but I've heard it's the most efficient way to play Switch games. I honestly do not understand what it is up with that ... it never happens during moments of intense gameplay oddly enough, but it's still annoying nonetheless. It's happened a couple of times in the span of a few hours.

One thing is clear, this isn't the Switch's fault. Fuck Capcom.

Just a guess. But since your game is in the SD card, maybe when you downloaded it, some files got corrupted. You could try to redownload the game to see if there are any improvements.

So far it is working better since re-installing it ... but the issue mostly occurred in dock mode, and I haven't played it docked since reinstalling. I checked the "check for corrupt files" option before reinstalling and nothing came up as wrong. So I don't know if there was just an install problem or if it's an issue with docked mode. I'll keep playing, thanks for your help!

What time are directs usually announced? If there was one happening Friday JP Time/Thursday US Time, when would that usually be announced, shouldn't be have heard about it by now?
