So, I'm looking at Nintendo's 2018 release schedule now:

February: Bayonetta 1 & 2
March: Kirby Star Allies
April: Nintendo Labo
May: DKC: Tropical Freeze; Dark Souls: Remastered

TBD: Hyrule Warriors: Definitive Edition, Mario Tennis Aces, The World Ends with You: Final Remix, Yoshi, Fire Emblem, Animal Crossing, Bayonetta 3, Metroid Prime 4, Pokemon

Not sure about Dark Souls and I think I'll pass on Nintendo Labo, but I'll be getting Bayonetta 1 & 2 and DKC again, 3 of my favorite games from the Wii U! And Star Allies will actually be my first Kirby game, so I have that to look forward to.

So, they managed to fill out the release schedule with at least 1 first party game each month until May. Hopefully we'll have solid release dates for the most of the other games 'TBD' soon as well. I don't expect to see Metroid or Pokemon this year, but I think all the other ones are plausible for 2018.

Nintendo is keeping the cards close to their vest this gen.  We'll have to wait and see what they have planned all things told.  I'm not going to be shocked if an early spring Direct comes along to drop more info.  Even a February Direct wouldn't shock me.

I believe Hyrule Warriors and Mario Tennis have a Spring launch window, so one if not both should release in June (based on ARMS June counts as a Spring month), and unfortunately Animal Crossing has not yet been announced. But otherwise yes, I'm very happy Nintendo is keeping to the consistent release schedule. What was once a fool's dream during the Wii U era is now reality!

Oh dang! Nintendo is really aiming the kids this time.

Edit: Speaking of Labo, I would love if they brought back the Zelda, Metroid and other Nintendo land games with using Labo.

Pocky Lover Boy!

Apparently Nintendo has files for a new Animal Crossing-related trademark in Japan:

According to an article by Nintendo Life, "The trademark application reportedly mentions a variety of purposes including software for a home video game machine, portable electronic game machine, and smartphone devices. It even goes as far as mentioning stuffed animals, game machine controllers, board games, playing cards, protective carrying cases, trading card games, and more."

Anyone feeling the storage limitations of their microSD on Switch yet? Well, here comes Integral to save the day

The 512GB microSDXC card from Integral will be release in February 2018. Pricing is not available, but it will undoubtedly make your wallet cry. Transfer speed is ~80 MB/s which fits within Nintendo's recommended transfer rate of 60-95 MB/s for external storage options.

Yeah I buy games exclusively digital on Switch, and pretty much all of my other gaming systems now. There's no way I'd be going for something like the 512 GB card though, or even 400 GB. It's just way too expensive. I'm using a 128 GB card and I haven't maxed it yet, so I figure the longer I hold out, the cheaper everything will be by the time I really need one.

Don't own either on Switch

My 3 largest games are Breath of the Wild (15.6 GB), Skyrim (14.5 GB), and Resident Evil: Revelations (12.0 GB)
